A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
CUCAMONGA APPOINTING THE CHIEF ENGINEER OF THE FOOTHILL
FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT AS THE CITY FIRE CHIEF FOR THE
CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA.
WHEREAS, the City of Rancho Cucamonga is within the Foothill
Fire Protection District and utilizes the fac~lities, personnel and
equipment of the District in the administration of a fire protection and
fire prevention program for the City; and
WHEREAS, Section 36505 of the Government Code requires the City
Council to appoint a Fire Chief;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA
DOES RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: The Chief Engineer of the Foothill Fire Protection
District is hereby appointed the Fire Chief of the City of Rancho
Cucamonga.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 2nd day of December, 1977.
