A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING A SELECT SYSTEM OF
STREETS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California
provides for the establishment of a Select System of city streets for the pur-
pose of expending funds apportioned to the City from the State Highways Fund
and expenditures of matching funds from other sources; and
WHEREAS, the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California
provides for the establishment of a Select System before such funds can be
apportioned to the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Rancho Cucamonga as follows:
Section 1. That the San Bernardino County Select System of Streets
lying within the incorporated limits of the City of Rancho Cucamonga be accepted
as the Select System of Streets of the City of Rancho Cucamonga.
Section 2. That the appropriate department of the State of California
is hereby requested to approve the Select System referred to above subject to
such modifications as may be necessary.
Section 3. That the Acting City Clerk of the City of Rancho
Cucamonga is hereby directed to transmit certified copies of this Resolution
to the District Director of the State Department of Transportation for trans-
mittal to the proper State authority. ·
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council this 2nd day of
December, 1977.
