A RESOLUTION OF T~tE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING THE INTERIM CITY ATTORNEY.
HEREAS, the City of Rancho Cuc~onga was incorporated on November
30, 1977, as a general law city of the State of California; and
HEREAS, it is necessary for the efficient operation of the affairs
of the City that the City Council appoint an Interim City Attorney;
NOW, THEREFORE, HE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO CUC~ONGA
DOES ~SOLVE, DETE~4INE AND O~ER AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Samuel Crowe of the law fim of Covington & Crowe is
hereby appointed as Interim City Attorney to serve at the pleasure of the
City Council.
Section 2. Robert E. Dougherty and Edward A. Hopson of the law firm
of Covington & Crowe are hereby appointed as Assistants to the Interim City
Attorney to serve at the pleasure of the Interim City Attorney and the City
Council.
Section 3. he Interim City Attorney shall receive as compensation
for legal services rendered the sum of $1,500.00 per month for attendance at all
regular Council and Planning Co~ission meetings and up to eight (8) hours of
additional tim on a weekly basis, and for such additional services as are
desired by the City Council the Interim City Attorney shall receive a fee in the
sum of $50.00 per hour.
