HomeMy WebLinkAbout84-303 - ResolutionsRESOLUTION NO. 84-303 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, SUPPORTING A FULL SERVICE GENERAL ACUTE HOSPITAL IN THE CITY OF RANCliO CUCAMONGA W'HEREAS, the City of Rancho Cucamonga has growth over the last several years and is projected to growing communities in the United States; and experienced exceptional be one of the fastest WHEREAS, the residents of the City of Rancho Cucamonga do not presently have access to a hospital within their own community; and WHEREAS, the Inland Counties Health System Agency has indicated a shortage of hospital beds in this area to meet the projected health care needs of 1990; and WHEREAS, National Medical Enterprises is one of the nations largest providers of acute and long-term health care services and facilities; and WHEREAS, the construction and operation of a new hospital and support facilities will provide hundreds of jobs for residents of Rancho Cucamonga and surrounding communities. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga hereby supports the application for a Certificate of Need to be filed by National Medical Enterprises for the development of a full service acute care general hospital and supporting health and medical facilities.
