A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, DESIGNATING THE
CITY ATTORNEY.
WHEREAS, the City of Rancho Cucamonga was incorporated on
November 30, 1977 as a general law city of the State of California; and
WHEREAS, on December 2, 1977 the City Council appointed an
interim city attorney by Resolution No. 77-2; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary that the City Council designate a
city attorney to represent the City's interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA
DOES RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: Robert Dougherty of the law firm of Covington and
Crowe is hereby designated as the City Attorney to serve at the pleasure
of the City Council.
SECTION 2: Samuel Crowe and Edward A. Hopson of the law firm of
Covington & Crowe are hereby designated as Assistants to the City Attorney
to serve at the pleasure of the City Attorney and the City Council.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 17th day of March, 1982.
