A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING POP-
ULATION PER DWELLING UNIT FOR PURPOSE OF IMPLE-
MENTING CHAPTER 16.64 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE
RELATING TO THE DEDICATION OF PARK AND RECREATION
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga,
California, has adopted Chapter 16.64 of the Municipal Code, relating
to reKulation for dedications of land, payment of fees, or both, for
park and recreational land in subdivisions and planned communities;
and
WHEREAS, Chapter 16.64 of the Municipal Code establishes
a formula requiring as a component, "(the) population per dwelling
unit on a scale and density set by the responsible public agency".
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Rancho Cucamonga, California, as follows:
That the City Council shall determine and set by
Resolution the citywide average population per
dwelling unit based upon-official census results
within Rancho Cucamonga; and
That the City Council shall review and adjust, by
Resolution, if warranted, the cit.vwide average
population per dwelling unit as revised official
census results are issued; and
That the citywide average population per dwelling
unit in Rancho Cucamonga is hereby established at
3.1 persons per dwelling unit, and it is this
figure of 3.1 persons per dwelling that will apply
in the application of Chapter 16.64 of the Rancho
Cucamonga Municipal Code.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 3rd day of February, 1982.
