A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
OF THE CITY TO SIGN A CONTRACT WITH THE STATE OF
CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF FORESTRY AWARDING THE CITY
AN URBAN FORESTRY GRANT
WHEREAS, the City of Rancho Cucamonga has been awarded an
Urban Forestry Grant by the State of California Department of Forestry
to fund a tree planting, maintenance, passive energy conservation, and
information demonstration project; and
WHEREAS, the State of California Department of Forestry requires
that the City of Rancho Cucamonga, by resolution, authorize the signature
of the officer executing the Grant Contract for the City.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Rancho Cucamonga authorizes Phillip D. Schlosser, Mayor of the
City of Rancho Cucamonga, to sign and execute the Urban Forestry Grant
Contract for the City of Rancho Cucamonga.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 6th day of January, 1982.
