HomeMy WebLinkAbout84-32 - ResolutionsRESOLUTION NO. 84-32 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, ORDERING AND DIRECTING THE PREPARATION OF A FINAL "REPORT" FOR A COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga, California, (hereinafter referred to as the "legislative body of the local agency"), has declared its intention to initiate proceedings to create a Community Facilities District pursuant to the terms and provisions of the "Mello-Roos Community Facilities Act of 1982", being Chapter 2.5, Part 1, Division 2, Title 5 of the Government Code of the State of California. This Community Facilities District shall hereinafter be referred to as COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 84-1 (DAY CREEK DRAINAGE SYSTEM) (hereinafter referred to as the "District"); and WHEREAS, there has now been submitted Work a preliminary "Report" relating to above-referenced District; and by the appointed Engineer of the proceedings for the WHEREAS, this legislative body is now desirous to direct the preparation of a final "Report" to provide more detailed information relating to the proposed District, the proposed project facilities and estimate of cost. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: That the above recitals are all true and correct. SECTION 2: That Willdan Associates, the appointed Engineer of Work, is hereby directed and ordered to prepare a final "Report" to be presented to this legislative body, said final "Report" to contain further information and data regarding a description of the project facilities required to meet the needs of the District, further data and information regarding the estimate of the cost for providing said facilities, and any further data relating to the rate or method of apportionment of the special tax required to finance said project facilities. Said final "Report" shall further contain any other material that is related to the proposed project facilities or District. SECTION 3: Said final "Report", upon its preparation, shall be submitted to this legislative body for review, and said final "Report" shall be made a part of the record of the public hearing on the Resolution of Intention to establish said District.
