A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING A POLICY PROHIBITING
THE PLANTING OF TOXIC PLANTS ALONG COMMUNITy TRAILS
WITHIN THE CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA
WHEREAS, it is the City Counoil's desire to protect the public
health, safety and welfare; and
WHEREAS, the Trails Element of the General Plan establishes a
Community Trail System; and
WHEREAS, the Community trails serve the recreational needs of the
community and provide pathways to schools, parks and shopping areas.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of
Raneho Cucamonga does hereby declare its policy to be:
SECTION 1: That the planting of poisonous plant material along
Community trails shall be prohibited within the City of Raneho Cucamonga.
NOT PASSED, APPROVED, or ADOPTED this 1st day of June, 1983.
