A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAN(~O
CU CAMONGA, CALIfoRNIA, DEN~ING DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT
A14~NDMENT NO. 87-05 P~UES TING AN AMENDMENT TO
DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT FAP PROM LOW-~DIUM RESIDENTIAL (4-8
DWELLING UNITS PER ACRE) TO HIGH RESIDENTIAL (24-30
DWELLING UNITS PER ACRE) ATTAC~IED WITH THE SENIOR HOUSING
OVERLAY DISTRICT (SHOD) FOR 5.05 ACRE PARf~L LOCATED ON
THE SOUTH SIDE OF BASE LINE ROAD, WEST OF ARfMIBALD
AVENUE, RANCHO OJCAMDNGA
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a duly advertised public hearing
on March 23, 1988 and continued on April 13, 1988 to consider all comments on
the proposed Amendment No. 87-05; and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a duly advertised public hearing to
consider all comments on the proposed Development District Amendment No. 8705;
SECTION I: The City Council cannot make the following findings:
A. That this rezoning is consistent with the General Plan of the
City of Rancho Cucamonga.
B. That this rezoning is consistent with the objectives of the
Development Code of the City of Rancho Cucamonga.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Rancho Cucamonga City Council
hereby denies Development District Amendment No. 87-05.
NOT APPROVED this 18th day of May, 1988.
