A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
CI~CAM~NGA, CALIFORNIA, DENYING GENERAL PLAN A~NDMENT NO.
87-04G I~UESTING AN AI~NDMENT TO THE LAND USE ELEI~NT OF
THE RAN(NO UJCAMDNGA GENERAL PLAN FROM LOW-I~DIUM
RESIDENTIAL (4-8 DWELLING UNITS PER ACRE) TO HIGH
RESIDENTIAL (24-30 DWELLING UNITS PER ACRE) FOR A SENIOR
HOUSING PROJECT ON 5.05 ACRES OF LAND LOCATED ON THE S0~TH
SIDE OF BASE LINE ROAD, WEST OF ARCHIBALD AVENUE, RANCHO
03 CA M~ NGA, CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a duly advertised public hearing
on March 23, 1988 and continued on AprLl 13, 1988 to consider all comments on
the proposed General Plan Amendment No. 87-O4G; and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a duly advertised public hearing to
consider all comments on the proposed General Plan Amendment No. 87-04G;
SECTION I: The Rancho Cucamonga City Council cannot make the
following findings:
A. The Amendment does not conflict with the Land Use Policies of the
General Plan.
B. The Amendment promotes goals of the Land Use Element.
C. The Amendment would not be materially injurious or detrimental to
the adjacent properties.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Rancho Cucamonga City Council
hereby denies General Plan Amendment No. 87-O4G.
NOT APPROVED this 18th day of May, 1988.
