A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
CU CAM~NGA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE ENV IRON}~NTAL
ASSESS~NT INITIAL STUDY AND ISSUAN(~ OF A NEGATIVE
DE(LARATION FOR THE PROPOSED ETIWANDA STORM DRAIN, PHASE I
WHEREAS, the Etiwanda Storm Drain as a Public Agency Project shall be
subject to comply with the California Enviror~nental Quality Act necessary to
protect, rehabilitate and enhance the euviror~ental quality of the State; and
WHEREAS, an Enviror~ental Assessment Initial Stud~ has been prepared
pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act, as amended; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga has for its
consideration all the available inputs and has reviewed same concerning the
proposed Etiwanda Storm Drain.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Rancho Cucamonga, California, does hereby resolved as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga hereby
approves the Environmental Assessment Initial Study and issuance of a Negative
Declaration for the proposed Area VII Storm Drain Project.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is directed to f~le a Notice of
Determination pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 18th day of May. 1988.
