A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCMO
CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, SUMMARILY ORDERING ~/dE VACATION OF
A PORTION OF A DRAINAGE EASEMENT, LOCATED ON THE EAST SIDE
OF CENTER AVENUE, SO~TH OF CHUR~{ STREET
WHEREAS, by Chapter 4, Article 1, Section 8330, of the Streets and
Highway C~de, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga is authorized to
s,~arily vacate a portion of a City Drainage easement hereinafter more
particularly described; and
WHEREAS, the City Council found from all the evidence submitted that
said portion of said drainage easement, dedicated to the County of San
Bernardino on May 23, 1957 is no longer required for its intended purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of City
of Rancho Cucemonga as follows:
SECTION' 1: The Council hereby makes its order vacating that portion
of said drainage easement as shown on Parcel Map 8901 on fLle in the office of
the City Clerk of the City of Rancho Cucamonga, which has been further
described in a legal description which is attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A"
and by reference made a part thereof.
SECTION 2: That from and after the date this resolution is recorded,
said portion of said drainage easement no longer constitutes a public service
easement.
SECTION 3: That the City Clerk shall cause a certified copy of this
resolution to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of San
Bernardino County, California.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 18th day of May, 1988.

Legal Description of Proposed Vacation
Being that portion of the following described property within Parcels ! and 2
Parcel Map No. 8901 in the City of Rancho Cucamonga, per Plat recorded in Book
114, Pages 26 thru 28, inclusive of Parcel Maps, records of the County of San
Bernardino.
The West thirty (30) feet of Lot 4, Tract 2202, County of San Bernardino, State
of California, as per map recorded in Book 34 of Maps, Page 67, records of said
County;
EXCEPTING the North one thousand three hundred and twenty (1320) feet thereof;
and
EXCEPTII~ the South two hundred (200) feet thereof.
