A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING HISTORIC LANDMARK
DESIGNATION NO. 30 TO DESIGNATE THE REGINA WINERY ALSO
KNOWN AS THE ELLENA BROTHERS WINERY LOCATED AT 12467
BASE LINE ROAD AS HISTORIC LANDMARK DESIGNATION NO. 30
WHEREAS, the Historic Preservation Commission has held a duly
advertised public hearing to conSider all comments on the proposed Historic
Landmark Designation No. 30 and issued Resolution No. 88-05 recommending to this
City Council that said Historic Landmark Designation be approved.
WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed all input from
the Historic Preservation Commission regarding said Historic Landmark
Designation.
SECTION 1: The Rancho Cucamonga City Council hereby makes the
following findings:
A. The proposed landmark is particularly representa-
tive of an historical period, type, style, region,
or way of life.
B. The proposed landmark was connected with someone
renowned, important, or local personality.
C.The proposed landmark is connected with a business
or use which was once common but is now rare.
D. The proposed landmark in its location represents
an established and familiar visual feature of the
neighborhood, community or city.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga
does hereby resolve and approve the Historic Landmark Designation No. 30.
