WHEREAS, the City of Rancho Cucamonsa desires to improve Arrow Route
as a major size east-west thoroughfare Between Archibald Avenue and Hermosa
Avenue. and as a consequence sent out Request for Proposals to severs/ Real
Estate Consultants to provide public right-of-way acquisition necessary for the
construction of ultimate improvements Between Archibald Avenue and Hermosa
Avenue; and
WHEREAS. the firm of John Cutler and Associates has represented as
qualified to perform the services in the Request for Proposal and was chosen by
the City En$i'neering Staff to provide ~he public right-of-way acquisition of
several parcels within the l~nits of Arrow Route Reconstruction. Phase II
Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Rancho Cucamonga does hereby resolve to award and execute a Professional
Services Agreement with John Cutler and Associates to provide public
risht-of-way acquisition/consultant services for Arrow Route Improvements
between Archibald Avenue and Hermosa Avenue. Such work shall be performed for
a fee not to exceed $34,000.00 ($4,000.00/parcel plus $650.00/tenant) to ~e
funded b~ STstems Develop, mt Fund, Account No. 22-46378618. A contingency
fund in an amount of 10~ of the contract amount shall also be established for
use under the approval and direction of the City engineer for ex%rs work or
~hange Order during the course of plan preparation.
