A RESOLUTION OF THE CIT~ COUNCIL OF THE CIT~ OF RANCHO
CUCAMDNGA, CALIFORNIA, TO AWARD AND EXE~3TE A PROFESSIONAL
SERVICES AGREE~NT WITH LINVILLE CIVIL ENGINEERS/LAND
SURVEYORS, INC. OF RANCHO GUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA TO PREPARE
FLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, AND ESTIMATE FOR HILLSIDE ROAD
PAVE~NT R~ABILITATION PROJECT BETWEEN HER~DSA AVENUE AND
MAYBERRY AVENUE
WHEREAS, the City of Rancho Cucamonga desires to ~mprove Hillside Road
as a .collector siae east-west thoroughfare between Hermosa Avenue and Mayberry
Avenue, and as a consequence sent out Request for Proposals to several
engineering companies to design such project for construction;
WHEREAS, the firm of Li~vflle Civil Engineers/Land Surveyors, Inc. has
represented as qualified to perform the services in the Request for Proposal
and was chosen by the City Engineering Staff to provide professional
engineering services for field surveys, engineering design, studies and
calculations- for the preparation of plans, specifications and estimate for
Hillside Road Pavement Rehabilitation Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City C~uncil of the City of
Rancho Cucamonga does hereby resolve to award and execute a Professional
Services Agreement with Linvflle Civil Engineers/Land Surveyors, Inc. to
provide professional engineering services to prepare plans, specifications and
estimate for Hillside Road Pavement Rehabilitation Project between Hermosa and
Mayberry Avenues. Such work shall be performed for a fee not to exceed
$12,690.00 to be funded by Systems Development Fund. A contingency fund in an
amount of 10~ of the contract amount shall also be established for use under
the approval and direction of the City Engineer for extra work or Change Order
during the course of plan preparation.
