RESOLUTION OF THE CITY GOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, PASSING ON REAPPORTIONMENT REPORT
FOR THE STORM DRAIN C~ANNEL (ASSESSMENT DISTR£6T 86-2) FOR
THE LOT LINE ADJUSTMENT FOR APN 201-271-71, APN
201-271-72, AND TRACT MAP 12873, GIVING PRELIMINARY
APPROVAL, AND SETTING THE DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR MAY
4, 1988
WHEREAS, the CITY 00UNCIL of the CITY OF RANCHO O3CAMONGA, CALIFORNIA,
has previously confirmed assessments in a special assessment district, pursuant
to the terms and provisions of the "Municipal Improvement Act of 1913", being
Division 12 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, and
bonds were issued to represent the costs for unpaid assessments pursuant to the
terms and provisions of the "Improvement Bond Act of 1915", being Division 10
of said code, said special assessment district known and designated as
Assessment District 86-2 (hereinafter referred to as the "Assessment
District"); and
WHEREAS, subsequent thereto, certain lots and/or parcels of land which
there are unpaid assessments have been apportioned or divided; and this
legislative body has ordered the preparation of and has now received a
"Reapportionment Report" setting forth the segregation and apportionment o the
unpaid installments o the original assessments, all as authorized by Part 10 of
the "Improvement Bond Act of 1915 specifically commencing with Section 8730
thereof; and
WHEREAS, this legislative body is desirous to proceed to set a time
and place or hearing public testimony and/or objections upon the amended
assessment, all in the manner as authorized by said Part 10.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the above recitals are all true and correct.
SECTION 2. That the report entitled "Reapportionment Report" setting
forth certain segregations and apportionments of the unpaid installments of the
original assessments or the Assessment District is hereby received,
preliminarily approved and ordered to be placed on file in the Office of the
· City Clerk of the legislative body.
SECTION 3. That the proposed segregations and apportionments as set
forth in the Reapportionment Report, are hereby approved in the amounts set
forth and for the respective lots or parcels as set forth in said report.
Reference is hereby made to said report or all particulars as it relates to the
proposed segregations and reapportionments.

SECTION 4. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT ON WEDNESDAY. THE 4TH OF MAY.
1988, AT THE HOUR OF 7:30 P.M., IN THE REGULAR MEETING PLACE OF THIS
LEGISLATIVE BODY, LOCATED AT THE LIONS PARK COM~NITY CENTER, RANCHO CUCAMDNGA,
CALIFORNIA, IS THE TIME AND PLACE FIXED FOR THE HEARING UPON THE PROPOSED
AMENDED ASSESSMENTS. ALL PERSONS INTERESTED IN THE ORIGINAL ASSESSMENT OR IN
THE LANDS AFFECTED THEREBY, OR IN THE BONDS SECURED THEREBY, MAY, AT THE TIME
OF THE HEARING OR AT THE TIME TO WHICH THE HEARING MAY BE OONTINUED, APPEAR AND
PROTEST AGAINST THE AMENDED ASSESSMENT. WRITTEN OBJECTIONS TO THE AMENDED
ASSESSMENT ARE TO BE FILED WITH THE CITY CLERK OF THE LEGISLATIVE BODY BY ANY
INTERESTED PERSON AT ANY TIME NOT LATER THAN THE TIME SET FOR THE PUBLIC
HEAR ING.
SECTION 5. That the City Clerk of the legislative body shall,
{mmediately following the adoption of this Resolution, cause notice to be made,
pursuant to Section 6061 of the Government Code of the State o California, by
having a cop~ of this Resolution .published in the DAILY REPORT, said
publication to be made two (2) times with the first publication to be completed
at least fifteen (15) days prior to the date set for the Public Hearing.
