A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
C~CAMONGA. CALIFORNIA, CALLING AND GIVING NOTICE OF
GENERAL H3NICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD IN SAID CITY ON
TUESDAY, THE 8TH DAY OF NOVE~ER, 1988 FOR THE ELECTION OF
CERTAIN OFFICERS OF THE CITY AS P~UIRED BY THE PROVISIONS
OF THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA RELATI~ TO GENERAL
LAW CITIES. AND CONSOLIDATING SAID ELECTION WITH STATEWIDE
GENERAL ELECTION TO BE HELD ON SAID DATE
WHEREAS. under the provisions of the laws relatln8 to General Law
Cities in the State of Callfornia, a general municipal electlon shall be held
on Tuesday, November 8, 1988 for the election of Municipal Officers:
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO CDCAMDNGA,
CALIFORNIA DOES RESOLVE. DECLARE. DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION t: That pursuant to the requirements of the laws of the Stat~
of California relatln8 to General Law Cities within said State, there shall be.
and there is hereby called and ordered, held in the City of Rancho CucamonEa.
County of San Bernardino. State of California, on Tuesday. the 8th day of
November, 1988 a General Municipal Election of the qualifled electors of said
City for the purpose of electln8 a Mayor of the City of Rancho Cucamonsa for
full term of two yearsI two members of the City Council for the full term of
four years; a City Clerk for a full term of four years; and a City Treasurer
for a full term of four years.
SECTION 2: The City of Rancho Cucamonga shall reimburse said County
for services performed when the work is completed and upon presentation to the
City of a properly approved bill.
SECTION 3: The City Clerk of the City of Rancho Cucamonga is directed
to forward without delay to said Board of Supervisors and to said Registrar of
Voters, each a certified copy of this Resolutlon.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 6th day of July. 1988.
