A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
CUCAH~I~A. CALIFORNIA. APPOINTING OPFICERS AND AGENTS TO
ACCEPT DEEDS ON BEHALF OP THE CITY (SUPERCEDING RESOLUTION
NO. 82-83)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO ~JCAH)NGA DO~S RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
~EREAS, Govermuent Code Section 27281 provide8 that:
1. Deeds or grants conveying ar~ interest in or easement upon real
estate to a political corporation or gove~Tnuental agent7 for
public purposes shall not be accepted for recordation without the
consent of the grantee evidenced b~ its certificate or resolution
of acceptance attached to or printed on the deed or srant; and
2. A political corporation or govermuental agency, b~ a Sahara1
resolution, may authorize an officer or agent to accept and
consent to such deeds or grants; and
IrrIBREAS, for the benefits to be derived through expeditious processing
of deeds or grants obtained by the City, it is detemined desirable to
authorize officers, and in his absence, an agent to accept and consent to
certain deeds or grants obtained.
NC~, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Rancho Cucamonga, pursuant to Govermaent Code Section 27281, that the following
officers and agents:
The City Clerk and the Deputy City Clerk
The City Engineer and the Deputy City Engineer
are authorized to accept and consent to deeds and grants to the City of Rancho
Cucsmonga as follows:
1. Grantis deeds and grants including Offers of Dedication
2. Deeds and grants previously approved for purchase by official
action of the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucmaonga.
