A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
CUCAH)N3A. CALIFORNIA. ESTABLISHING AN APPROPRIATION LIMIT
PURSUANT TO ARTICLE XIIIB OF THE CALIFORNIA STATE
CONSTIT~TION FOR FISCAL YEAR 1988-89
~HEREAS, Article XIIIB of the State of Callfornia provides that the
total annual appropriations subject to ~l~uaitation of the' State and of each
local government shall not exceed the appropriations limit of such entity of
government for the prior year adjusted for changes in the cost of 1lying and
population except as other~Isa provided in said Article XIIIB-' and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said Article XIIIB of the Constitution of the
State of Callfornia, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga deems it
to be in the best interests of the City of Rancho Cucamonga to establish an
appropriations limit for the Fiscal Year 1988-89.' and
~EREAS, the Assistant Finance Director of the City of Rancho
Cucamonga has deter~ined that said appropriations limit for the Fiscal Year
1988-89 be established in the a~ount of $17,192.510.
NO~, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Rancho Cucamonga that an appropriation limit for the Fiscal Year 1988-89
pursuant to Article XIIIB of the Constitution of the State of California be
established in the amount of $17,192,510, and the same is hereby established.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said appropriations limit herein
established may be changes as deemed necessary by resolution of the City
Council.
