HomeMy WebLinkAbout88-361 - Resolutions RESOLUTION NO. 88-361 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO ~3CAM3NGA, OOUNTY OF SAN BERNARDINO, STATE OP CALIFORNIA, DEfLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE OF V~{IUJLAR ACCESS RIGHTS FOR TWO DRIVEWAYS ON JASPER STREET AND AN E~RGENCY VEHI(LE ACCESS ON LOMITA DRIVE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga as follows: SECTION 1: That the City Council hereby elects to proceed under Section 8300. et. seq.. of the Streets and Highways Code. also known as the Street Vacation Act of 1941. SECTION 2: That the City Council hereby declares its intention to vacate vehicular access rights for two driveways on Jasper Street and an emergency vehicle access on Lomita Drive. a City street, as shown on Map No. V-081 on file in the Office of the City Clerk. a legal description of which is attached hereto marked Exhibit "A" and by reference made a part hereof. SECTION 3: That the City Council hereby fixes Wednesday. the 15th day of June. 1988. at 7:30 p.m.. in the Lions Park Community Center Building. located at 9161 Base Line. Rancho Cucamonga. Celifornia. as the time and place for hearing all persons objecting to the proposed vacation for the purpose of its determining whether said City street is necessary for present or prospective street purposes. SECTION 4: That the City Street Superintendent shall cause notices to be posted conspicuously along the line of the street or part thereof proposed to be vacated at least 10 days before the hearing, not more than 30 feet apart and not less than three signs shall be posted, each of which shall have a copy of this resolution on the~ and shall have the following title in lettering not less than one inch in height: "NOTICE OF HEARIng TO VACATE STREET". SECTION 5: The subject vacation shall be subject to the reservations and exceptions, if any. for existing utilities on record. SECTION 6: The Mayor shall sign this Resolution and the City Clerk shall attest to the same. and the City Clerk shall cause same to be published 10 days before the date set for the hearing, at least once in The Daily Report. a newspaper of general circulation published in the City of Ontario. California. and circulated in the City of Rancho Cucamonga. California. PASSED, APPROVED. and ADOPTED this 1st day of June. 1988.
