A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
CUCAHONGA, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING SPECIAL IMPROVENENT
FUND FOR PARKS AND RECREATION IHPROVEMENT DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga, California
(hereinafter referred to as "City"), is now considering the formation of a
special assessment district for the construction and installation of certain
park improvements, together with appurtenances and appurtenant work in
connection therewith, pursuant to the provisions of the '%andstaping and
Lighting Act of 1972', being Division 15, Part 2 of the Streets and Highways
Code of the State of California, commencing with Section 22500, in a special
assessment district known and desiEnated as PARK AND RECREATION IHPROVEMENT
DISTRICT (HERITAGE AND RED HILL COMMUNITY PARK) (hereinafter referred to as the
"Assessment District"); and
WHEREAS, at this time this City Council is desirous to establish a
special improvement fund for the purposes of advancing any monies necessary to
pay for preliminary costs and expenses for consulting, staff or works of
improvement, any such advances to be repaid from the proceeds of bonds; and
WHEREAS, this City Council intends to f inance the improvements for
said Assessment District through the levy of assessments and/or the issuance of
bonds pursuant to the provisions of the "Improvement Bond Act of 1915', and
being Division 10 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California.
NO~, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1: That the above recitals are all true and correct.
SECTION 2: That this legislative body does hereby establish a
special Improvement Fund designated by the name of this Assessment District,
into which funds may be transferred at any time to expedite the making of the
improvement herein authorized, and said funds are a loan and shall be repaid
out of the proceeds of the sale of bonds as authorized by law.
