HomeMy WebLinkAbout79-89 - Resolutions RESOLUTION NO. 79-89 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO CUC~MONGA, CALIFORNIA, ORDERING THE WORK IN CONNECTION WITH FORMATION LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE DISTRICT NUMBER 1 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga did on the 7th day of November, 1979, adopt its Resolution of Intention No. 79-81 to order the therein described work in connection with Landscape Maintenance District No. 1, which Resolution of Intention No. 79-81 was duly and legally published in the time, form and manner as required by law. shown by the affidavit of Publication of said Resolution of Intention ol ile in the office of the City Clerk; and ~HEREAS, after the adoption thereof, notice of the passage of said Resolution of Intention, headed "Notice of Improvement", was duly and legally posted in the time, form, manner, location, and number as required by law, as appears from the Affidavit of Posting said notices, on file in the office of the City Clerk; and WHEREAS, after the adoption thereof, notices of the adoption of the Resolution of Intention were duly mailed to all persons owning real property proposed to be assessed for the improvements described in said Resolution of Intention No. 79-81, according to the names and addresses of such owners as the same appears on the last mailing or as known to the City clerk of the City of Cucamonga, which said copies were duly mailed in the time, form, and manner as required by law, as appears from the Affidavit of Mailing on file in the office of the City Clerk; and WHEREAS, said City Council having duly received considered evidence, oral and documentary, concerning the jurisdiction facts in this proceeding and concerning the necessity for the contemplated work and the benefits to be derived therefrom and said City Council having now acquired jurisdiction to order the proposed work; SECTION 1: It is hereby resolved by the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga that the public interest and convenience requires the annexation to the district and the ordering of work, and said City Council hereby orders that the work, as set forth and describe~t in gaid Resolution of Intention No. 79-81, be done and made; and SECTION 2: Be it further resolved that the report filed by the Engineer is hereby finally approved; and SECTION 3: Be it finally resolved that the assessments for fiscal year 1980-81 and method of assessment in the Engineer's Report are hereby approved.
