A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANf~{O
CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, DETERMINING THAT RECONSTRUCTION
OF PORTIONS OF FOOTHILL BOULEVARD ARE OF BENEFIT TO RANCHO
REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA AND DETERMINING OTHER MA'ri'ARS
PROPERLY RELATING THERETO
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Rancho Oucamonga as
follows:
WHEREAS, the Rancho Cocamonga Redevelopment Agency (the "Agency")
proposes to utilize tax increment funds to reconstruct the north side of
Foothill Boulevard between Archibald and Ramona (the "Project"); and,
WHEREAS, said Project is located within the Agency's Rancho
Redevelopment Project area; and,
WHEREAS, there is no reasonable means of financing the Project other
than by the use of tax increment funds and that the Project is unique in that
it urgently requires street reconstruction.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS DETERMINED AND ORDERED by the City Council of
the City of Rancho Cucamonga as follows:
1. The Project is hereby determined to be of benefit to the project
area and that there is no reasonable means of financing the
Project other than through the use of Redevelopment tax
increment.
2. The Project is consistent with the Redevelopment Plan.
3. The determination set forth in Section 1 hereof are final and
conclusive.
4. This Resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 6th day of January, 1988.
