HomeMy WebLinkAbout79-67 - Resolutions RESOLUTION NO. 79-67 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE ~OPTED INTERIM L~D USE, CIRCUiTION ~D PUBLIC FACILITIES EL~ENTS OF THE RANCHO CUCAMONGA GENE~L PL~ ~EREAS, the City has established the second meeting in June as the 1979 General Plan ~endment hearing date for Planning Commission review; and ~EREAS, the Rancho Cucamonga Planning Commission held duly advertised public hearings on June 27, July 11, and August 8, 1979; and ~EREAS, comments were heard and considered both pro and con regarding the requested general plan amendments; and MEREAS, the Rancho Cucamonga City Council held duly advertised public hearings on August 1, and August 15, 1979; and HEREAS, comments were heard and considered both pro and con regarding the requested general plan amendments; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Rancho Cucamonga City Council does hereby mend the General Plan Land Use elements as follows: SECTION 1: For General Plan Amendment No. 79-01C amend the Land Use Map for the northea~ corner of Haven Avenue and Highland Avenue from Mixed Use and Low Density Residential to all Mixed Use from Highland Avenue to Lemon Avenue for 75+ acres of land. (Exhibit"A") SECTION 2: For General Plan Amendment No. 79-01D amend the Land Use Map for the southeast corner of Baker Avenue and Foothill Boulevard from Low Density Residential to Medium Density Residential from Foothill Bonlevard to Arrow Rotate and Baker Avenue to the Cucamonga Creek Channel. (Exhibit "B") SECTION 3: For General Plan ~endment No. 79-0lE amend the hand Use Map for the south side of 19th Street approximately 700' west of Archibald from high density residential to low density residential. (Exhibit"C") SECTION 4: Adopt Negative Declaration for each of the General Plan ~endments No. 79-01C, 79-01D, and 79-01E. PASSED, APPROVED, AND ~OPTED this 15th day of August, 1979, AYES: Schlosser, Palombo, Mikeis, Bridge, Frost NOES: None ABSENT: None ATTEST: ~/ City Clerk
