A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
CUCAMONGA, COUNTY OF SAN BEP~NARDINO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA,
ORDERING TO BE VACATED, A PORTION OF ARROYO VISTA AVENUE
AS SHOWN ON MAP (NO V-O01) ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE
CITY CLERK OF THE CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA.
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 79-53, passed on July 5, 1979, the
Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga declared its intention to vacate
a portion of a City street hereinafter more particularly described, and
set the hour of 7:00 p.m. on August 1, 1979, in the Ca~elian Elementary
School Multi Purpose Room, 7105 Carnelian, Alta Loma, California, ad the
time and place for hearing all person objecting to the proposed vacation;
and
WHEREAS, such public hearing has been held at said time and
place, and there were no protests, oral or written, to such vacation;
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga
as follows:
SECTION 1: The Council hereby finds from all the evidence
submitted that a portion of Arroyo Vista Avenue is unnecessary for
present or prospective public street purposes, and the City Council
hereby makes its order vacating that portion of said City street as
shown on Map No. V-001 on file in the office of the Clerk of City of
Rancho Cucamonga, which has been further described in a legal description
which is attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A", and by reference made a
part thereof.
SECTION 2: The Clerk shall cause a certified copy of this
resolution to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of San
Bernardino County, California.
SECTION 3: The Clerk shall certify to the passage and
adoption of this resolution, and it shall thereupon take effect and be
in force.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 1st day of August, 1979.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION
FOR THE
VACATION OF A PORTION OF
ARROYO VISTA AVENUE AT CALUMA COURT
That portion of land shown as Arroyo Vista Avenue (60 feet wide) including
Lot "A", on the map of Tract No. 9157, in the City of Rancho Cucamonga,
County of San Bernardino, State of California, as per plat filed in Map
Book 132, Pages 78, 79 and 80 in the Office of the San Bernardino County
Recorder, lying northerly of the following described line:
Commencing at the $uutbeasterly corner of Lot 79 of said Tract No.
9157; thence westerly along the southerly line of said Lot 79 a
distance of 49.89 feet to the True Point of Beginning; thence
westerly, along the westerly projection of said southerly line,
79.64 feet, more or less, to the easterly line of Lot 112 of said
Tract and the terminus of said line description.
EXCEPT THEREFROM that certain portion thereof lying southerly of
the following described line:
Commencing at said Southeasterly corner; thence westerly along said
southerly line, 49.89 feet; thence northerly, at right angles to
said southerly line, 5.00 feet to the True Point of Beginning;
thence, parallel to said southerly line, south 89 56' 20" west
31.14 feet, to the beginning of a tangent curve concave southeasterly
having a radius of 48.00 feet, said curve being tangent at its
southerly terminus to a line parallel with and 1.00 feet, measured
at right angles, easterly of said easterly line of said Lot 112;
thence southwesterly along siad curve to its intersection with the
above described prolongation of the southerly line of Lot 79.
