A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CiTY OF RANCHO
CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, PROVIDING PARTIAL REIMBURSEMENT
TO ,MEMBERS OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION FOR EXPENSES INCURRED
~II.E SERVING AS MEMBERS OF THE COMMISSI[JN.
WttEREAS, the General Law of the State nf California pn~vides
that a city planning commission may bt. appointed for the purpose of
administering both City and State laws relating to planning, zoning,
and ]and use, and
~EREAS, members of the Rancho Cucamonga Planning Commission
devote substantial time and effort on behalf of the City of Rancho
Cucamonga, arid
W~EREAS, Planning Commissioners are required as a part ot
their responsibilities to make on-site inspections of properties
which will be discussed at tufther Planning Commission meetings, and
~EREAS, as a result ot these inspections, members of the
Planning Commission routinely incur certain expenses related to the
use of their personal veh/cles and to the performance of their official
duties for the City, and
~EREAS, it [s appropriate that Planning Commis~i~mers
receive ~ome reimbursement for expenses related to uhc dischargt~ off
their ,'; ficiaI duties,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City oF Rancho
Cucamonga does hereby rcs{~tve that memhcr~ ~l the PlanninR Comn~ission
shall receive tht~ sum of twenty-rive dollars (525.00) p~.r meeting,
not to exce~,d fifty dollars ($50.00) per month to c~ffset a portioB
of the expenses incurred while serving as mt~mhers of th~~ Planning
Comm i ss i{>n.
