A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
CUCAMONGA CERTIFYING THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT
FOR THE RANCHO REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City Council and the Redevelopment Agency of the
City of Rancho Cucamonga have consented to a joint public hearing for
consideration of the proposed Redevelopment Plan and draft Environmental
Impact Report for the Rancho Redevelopment Project; and
WHEREAS, the adoption of a Redevelopment Project requires an
Environmental Assessment; and
WHEREAS, an Environmental Impact Report has been prepared
pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act, as amended; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Rancho Cucamonga
held a Public Hearing on the draft Environmental Impact Report for the
Rancho Redevelopment Project on November 10, 1981; and
WHEREAS, this Council must consider the Environmental Impact
Report for the Rancho Redevelopment Project prior to adopting the proposed
Redevelopment Plan for the Rancho Redevelopment Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga
does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga
hereby certifies the Environmental Impact Report for the proposed Rancho
Redevelopment Project.
SECTION 2: The City Clerk is directed to file a Notice of
Determination pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act.
SECTION 3: The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution.
