A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, SUPPORTING THE
CITY'S REVISED APPLICATION TO PARTICIPATE IN
THE URBAN FORESTRY GRANT PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, the City Council has on previous occasions demon-
strated through resolution its interest in and commitment to participa-
tion in the California Division of Forestry's Urban Forestry Grant
Program; and
WHEREAS, the City's original grant application to the Califor-
nia Division of Forestry was based on a program budget of $50,000; and
WHEREAS, The California Division of Forestry has indicated
that it will award $10,000 (with the City providing a 10% local in-kind
match) to the City upon presentation and acceptance of a revised budget,
work program, and work schedule;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Rancho Cucamonga is in full support of the attached revised
grant budget, work program and work schedule.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 4th day of November, 1981.
