A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING A
DEADLINE FOR FILING APPLICATIONS FOR REFUSE
COLLECTORS PERMITS.
WHEREAS, Section 33.022 of the San Bernardino County Code as
adopted and modified by Ordinance No. 17 makes it unlawful for any person, firm,
or corporation to operate a refuse collection service in the City without holding
the applicable permit, and
WHEREAS, the procedure for obtaining such permit is set out in
Chapter 2, Division 3, Title 3 of the San Bernardino County Code as adopted and
modified by Ordinance No. 17 and as amended by Ordinance No. 135.
NOW, THEREFORE, it is resolved:
SECTION 1: All refuse collectors currently operating a residential
collection service within the City shall have until April 21, 1981 to apply for a
permit to operate a residential refuse collection service within the City of Rancho
Cucamonga.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 21st day of January 1981.
