A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF RANCHO
CUCANONGA, CALIFORNIA, SETTING NAIINUN RATES FOR
RESIDENTIAL REFUSE COLLECTINC WITHIN THE CITY OF RANCHO
CUCANONGA
WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga recognizes
Chat eftactive January i, 1987 the County of San Bernardino viI1 suostantxally
increase the tonnaSa fees for refuse deposited at the Nilliken Landfxll site by
forty three percent; and
WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Kancho Cucamonga recognizes
that since 1983, the last adjustment in rates for residential ref5se
collection, there have been substantial increases in liability insurance costs,
general operating expenses, and employee wages by the permxt refuse haulers
within the City of Rancho CucamonSa; and
WBEREAS, The City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga has
determined that it is necessary for the effzcient operatxon and management of
the residential refuse collection service within Rancho Cucamonga that
maximum rates be adjusted.
N(N, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Rancho Cucamonga that:
SECTION 1: Charges for Selwice
A. Basic Individual Residential Unit rate utilizinS curb ,
service and individual pa!ment.
1. Raximum monthly rate $7.95 per service.
2. Naximum monthly rate differential for service
north of Banyan Street $.70 per service.
3. Naximum monthly rate for senior citizen $6.00.
a. Senior Citizen shall be anyone sixty-two
(62) years old, head of household, and have
a request with permittee.
B.Nultiple Residential Unit rate utilizing curb service
and group payment.
1.Naximum monthly rate shall be $7.95 for the first
unit and $6.95 for each unit thereattar.
2. Naximum monthly rate differentXal for service
north of Banyan $.70 per unit.
C. Nultiple Residential Unit rate utilizing three cubic
yard refuse containers.
1. Maximum monthly rate shall be as follows in
respect to frequency of service.
a. One service weekly $ 52.50
b. Two services weekly $ 81.00
c. Three services veekly $109.50
d. Four services weekly $138.00
e. Five services weekly $166.50
f. Six services veekly $195.00

D. Temporary service (less than thirty days).
1. Three (3) cubic yard contaxners.
a.Maximum rate of $38.00 for seven (7) days at
location.
b. Maximum rate of 321.00 for each additional
service (dump).
2. Roll off container up to maximum forth (40) cubic
yards.
a. Maximum rate of $171.00 per service (dump),
however contaiuer shall be serviced (dumped)
at least once every seven (7) days.
