A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AND ACCEPTING THE PERNIT
TO CONSTRUCT AND MAINTAIN A TWENTY-FOUR (24) INCH STORM
DRAIN WITHIN A THIRTY (30) INCH STEEL CASING BETHKEN THE
SOUTHERN PACIFIC TRANSPORTATION COMPANY AND THE CITY
RANCHO CUCAMONGA FOR THE ARCHIBALD AVEItUE RAILROAD CROSSING
(NO. BBO-522.90) WIDENING NORTH OF BASE LINE ROAD
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga
(hereinafter referred to as '~ity'), has for its consideration a Permxt for the
construction of storm drain facilities as executed by the Southern Pacifzc
Transportation Company (hereinafter referred to as '~ompany'), for the videning
of Archibald Avenue at the Company's railroad crossing (No. BBO-522.90) located
north of Base Line Road; and
WHEREAS, the Company is willing and has executed said Permit
authorizing the City to construct and maintain a tventy-four (24) inch storm
drain vithin a thirty (30) inch steel casing across and beneath said Company~s
railroad crossing; and
WHERRAS, as a part consideration for the rights granted by said
Permit, the City shall pay to the Company the sum of three hundred ninety-five
($395.00) dollars; and
Wg~RKAS, the City is ~illing to construct and maintaXn safe storm
drain facilities as a part of said proposed Archibald Avenue Widening
Improvements. .
N(N, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Rancho Cucamonga, California, that said Permit be hereby approved and accepted,
and authorize the Bayor to execute the same, and direct the City Clerk to
acknomledge the Bayor's signature, to attach a certifzed copy of this
Resolution to the duplicate counterparts of said Permxt and to mail the
'original' counterpart to said Company along ~ith a check for three hundred
ninety-five ($395.00) dollars.
