A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THS CITY OF RANClIO

WHERF~S, Richard M. lkhl served the citizens of Rancho Cucamonga as
Councilre,abet from April of 1982 through November of 1986, and as 14ayor Pro Tern
from April of 198~ through Novomber of 1986; and
WHEREAS, Richard M. Ikhl represented the City of Rancho Cucamonga on
the League of California Cities, the Omni Trans Board of Directors, and
numerous other Council representative organizations; and
Wliggg~S, Richard H. Dehl was instrumental in improving the economic
and social well-being of the community by participating in the adoption of
Rancho Cucamonga's first Ceneral Plan and Industrial Area Specific Plan, the
completion of Alta Loma Park, the acquisition and completion of lieritage
Community Park and Red liill Community Park, and numerous other significant
accumplishmen~s which will have a lasting impact upon the City of Rancho
Cucamonga; and
WHEREAS, Richard N. Dahl, while City Counci linenbet, prow ided
leadership and support of various issues influencing economic development,
housing, employment and community development wi~hln the City of Rancho
Cucamonga; and
~HEREAS, Richard N. Dahl, during his tenure as Councilmember and Rayor
Pro Tea of the Rancho Cucamonga City Council, continually provided to his
colleagues and to the citizens of R~ncho Cucamoqa an outstanding example of
leadership, dedication and competence; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Rancho CucamonSa Ci~y
Council, on behalf of its citizens, hereby cosmends Richard N. l)ahl for his
outstanding leadership and dedication while serving as City Councilmember and
MAyor Pro Tea, and further be i~ resolved, that the City Council extends best
wishes for continued success in future endeavors.
