HomeMy WebLinkAbout86-316 - Resolutions RESOLUTION NO. 86-3 16 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCBO CUCAMONGA, COUNTY OF S~/~ BE~RARI)INO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE 22ND STREET BE~WEBae TORNER AVBNUE AND DEER CREEl CHANNEL BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Rancho CucamonSa as fol loes: SECTION 1: That the City Council hereby elects to proceed under Section 8300, st, seq,, of the Streets and HiShways Code. also known as the Street Vacation Act of 1941. SECTION 2: That the City Council hereby declares its intention to vacate 22nd Street between Turner Avenue and Deer Creek Channel a City street, as shown on Map No, V-062 on file in the Office of the City Clerk, a leSal description of which is attached hereto marked Exhibit "A" and by reference made a part hereof. SECTION 9: That the City Council hereby fixes Wednesday, the 3rd day of December, 198~, at 7:30 p.m., in the Lions Park Community Center BuildinS, located at 9161 Base Line, Bancho CucamonSa, California, as the time and place for hearlnS all persons objectinS to the proposed vacation for the purpose of its determininS whether said City street is necessary for present or prospective street purposes. SECTION 4: That the City Street Superintendent shall cause notices to ~e posted conspicuously aloq the line of the street or part thereof proposed to be vacated at least 10 days before the hearinS, not more than 30 feet apart and not less than three si2ns shall be posted, each of which shall have a copy of this resolution on them and shall have the followins title in letterinS not less than one inch in height: '~OTIC~ OF HEA~ING TO VACATE STREET". SECTION ~: The subject vacation shall be subject to the reservations and exceptions, if any, for existinS utilities on record. SECTION 6: The Mayor shall sign this Resolution and the City Clerk shall attest to the same, and the City Clerk shall cause same to be published 10 days before the date set for the hearing, at least once in The Daily Report, a newspaper of Seneral circulation published in the City of Ontario, California, and circulated in the City of Bancho CucamonSa, California.
