A RESOLUTION OF, THE CITY .COUNCI~L.OF.THE.CITY'OF RANCHO
CUCAMONGA, -CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AND EXECUTING THE
CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE- AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY
OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA AND THE ATCHISON, TOPEKA AND SANTA FE
RAILWAY COMPANY FOR THE PROPOSED RUBBER CROSSING PAD
INSTALLATION ON VINEYARD AVENUE AT THE ATCHISON, TOPEKA
AND SANTA FE RAILWAY CROSSING DESIGNATED PUBLIC UTILITIES
COMMISSION CROSSING NO. 2-98.7 NORTH OF 8TH STREET
· " WHEREAS, '-the ..Cit~- CounJil of the City of Rancho Cucamonga
(hereinafter referred to as "City"), has for its consideration and execution
the Construction and Maintenance Agreement with the Atchison, Topeka and Santa
Fe Railway Company (hereinafter referred to as "Santa Fe"), for the rubber
crossing pad installation on Vineyard Avenue at Santa Fe's Railway Crossing
(No. 2-98.7) located north of 8th Street; and
WHEREAS, Santa Fe and the City are in mutual accord with the
conditions specified in the attached Construction and Maintenance Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga,
California, does hereby resolve that said Construction and Maintenance
Agreement be approved and accepted, and authorize the Mayor to execute the
same, and direct the City Clerk to attach a certified copy of this Resolution '
to one duplicate original copy of said Agreement and mail said copy to the
Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 1st day of March, 1989·
