RESOLUi~ON OF THE UIT¥' COL~CIL OF THE ui'l'Y OF RANCHO
~, CALIFC~NIA, AFF~0VING DESIGNATION OF THE BEVERLY
HOUSE I_OCA~'~3 AT 9786 ARROW AS A ~
R~EREAS, the Historic Preservation C~,m~ssion has held a duly
advertised public hearing to consider all c~Lu,~nts on the proposed Landmark
Designation and issued Resolution No. 88-19 recommending to this City Council
that said Landmark Designation be approved.
~H~EAS, the City Council has received and reviewed all input frc~ the
Historic Preservation Ccmu~dssion regarding said Landmark Designation.
WPI~REAS, all lec3al prerequisites to the adoption of this Resolution
have occurred.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Rancho Cucamonga City Council hereby specifically
finds, determines, and resolves as follows:
SEu.'AON 1: ~ne application applies to property located at Assessor
Parcel Number 208-291-02.
SEui'iON 2: qlae proposed landmark meets the following criteria
established in (~aapter 2.24.090 of the Rancho Cucamonga Municipal Code:
A. Historical and Cultural Significance:
1. ~ae proposed landmark is particularly representa-
tive of an historical style.
B. Historic Architectural Significance:
1. ~ne overall effect of the design of the proposed
landmark is beautiful, and its details are
beautiful and unusual.
SECTION 3: Designation of a landmark is exempt frc~ CH~A (Article 19,
Section 15308).
SECTION 4: Based on the substantial evidence received and reviewed by
this Council and based on the findings set forth above.
NOW, THEREFORE, the city Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga does
hereby resolve and approve designation of ~ne Beverly Hills House es a landmark.
