A RESOL~i'±ON OF THE ci'r~ COUNCIL OF THE c±'l'f OF RANCHO
(~3CA~DNGA, CALIFORNIA, ORDflRING THE ANNEXATION OF ~
'i'~PIORY TO ~1~£' LIGHTING MAINi'~NANCE DISTRICT NOS. 1 AND
3 FOR TRACT 13753
WHEREAS, the City Council of the city of Rancho Cucamonga, California,
has previously formed a special maintenance d{-~trict pursuant to t_he terms of
the "Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972", being Division 15, Part 2 of the
Streets and Highways Code of the Stats of California, said special maintenance
district known and designated as Street Lighting Maintenanoe District No. 1 and
Street Lighting Ma~ District 3 (hereinafter referred to as tb~
. '94aintenance District"); and
WHEREAS, the provisions of Article 2 of (~apter 2 of the "Landscaping
and Lighting Act of 1972" authorize the annexation of additional territory to
the Maintenance District; and
WHEREAS, at this time the City Council is desirous to take
to annex the property described on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated
herein by t_his referenced to the Maintenance District; and
WHfREAS, all of the owners of property within the territory proposed
to be annexed to the Maintenance District have filed with the City Clerk their
written consent to the proposed annexation without notice and hearing er filing
of an Engineer ' s '~eport".
NOW, THfIREFORE, the City Council of the City of Rancho O/camonga does
hereby resolve as follows:
SECtiON 1: That the above recitals are all true and correct.
Sf~I~iON 2: That this legislative body orders the annexation of the
property as shown in E~hibit "A" and the work program areas as described in
Exhibit "B" attached hereto to the Maintenance District.
SEc£±ON 3: ~gnat all future proceedings of the Maintenance District,
including the levy of all assessments, shall be applicable to the territory
