3 FOR TRACT 13280
WH~qEAS, the city Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga, California,
has previously formed a special maintenance di~trict pursuant to the terms of
the "Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972", being Division 15, ~ 2 of the
Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, said special maintenance
district known and designated as Street Lighting Maintenance District No. 1 and
Street Lighting Maintenance District 3 (hereinaft2r referred to as the
'~aintenance District"); and
WHEREAS, the provisions of Article 2 of C~apt~r 2 of the "Lalldscaping
and Lighting Act of 1972" authorize the annexation of additional territory to
the Maintenance District; and
WH~P~EAS, at this time the City Council is desirous to take pr~ ings
to annex the property described on E~uibit "A" attached hereto and incorporae~
h~rein by this referenced to the Maintenance District; and
WHEREAS, all of the owners of property within the territory proposed
to be annexed to the Maintenance District have filed with the City Clerk their
written consent to the proposed ~tion without notioe and hearing or filing
of an Engineer's "Report".
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga does
hereby resolve es follows:
S~JrlON 1: Tnat the above recitals are all true and correct.
S~Ui'iON 2: That this legislative body orders the annexation of the
property as shown in E~libit "A" and the work program ar~s~ as described in
E~hibit "B" attached hereto to the Maintenance District.
S~ur±ON 3: ~hat all future proceedings of the Maintenanoe District,
including the levy of all assessments, shall be applicable to the territory
annexed hereunder.
