A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF P-~NCHO
CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, INITIATING PROCEEDINGS FOR THE
FORMATION OF LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE DISTRICT NO. 6, (CARYN
PLANNED COM/~tINITY) PURSUANT TO THE LANDSCAPE AND LIGHTING
ACT OF 1 972
WHEREAS, Part 2 of Division 15 (commencing with Section 22~00) of the
California Streets & 8igbweys Code authorizes this City Council to initiate
proceedings for the formation of an assessment district to improve and maintain
parkway and open space landscaping located therein; and
WHEREAS, this City Council desires to initiate proceedings for the
formation of an assessment district to be known as "Landscape Maintenance
District No. 6" to improve and maintain parkway and open space landscaping
located within the boundaries of said landscape maintenance district.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Cit~y Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga does
hereby resolve as follows:
SECTI0iq 1: This City Council hereby proposes the formation of an
assessment district to be know as "Landscape Maintenance District No. 6'
pursuant to the Landscaping and Lighting A~t of 1972.
SECTI0tq 2: The nature, location and extent of the improvements to be
installed and maintained within "Landscape and Maintenance District No. 6' are
more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated
betsin by reference.
SECTIOtq 3: The location and extent of Landscape District No. 6 is
more particularly described in Exhibit "B' attached hereto and incorporated
herein, and this City Council hereby specifies the designation "Landscape
Maintenance District No. 6" for said landscape maintenance district.
SECTION 4: The City EuEineer is hereby authorized and directed to
cause the preparation and filing of a report with respect to the formation of
Landscape Maintenance District in accordance with Article 4 (commencing vitb
Section 22~5) of Chapter 1 of the California Streets and Highways Code.
