CUCAMO~GA, CALIFO~HIA, MAKING PRELIMINARY DETERMINATIONS
AND ORDgRING PREPARATIOH OF A REPORT OH CERTAIN PUBLIC
IMPROVgM~NTS

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rancbo Cucamonga, California
(the '*City") is considering the formation of an assessment district, pursuant
to the "Municipal Improvement Act of 1913", being Division 12 of the Streets
and Highways Code, for certain public works and improvements and acquisitions,
if necessary, generally daecrlbed as follows:
The construction and installation of drainage improvements
including appurtenances and appurCenanC work, acquisition,
if necessary, and incidental expenses in connection
therewith

WHEREAS, the tit? Council damires to ocdor preparation ~f a "Report",

Protest Act of 1931", being Division 4 of the Streets and Highways Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Rmncho Cucamonga does
hereby RESOLVE, DETERMINElaD ORDER as follows:
SECTIOH 1: That the above recitals are all true and correct,
BECTI~q 2: That the City Council finds and determines as follows:
(a) That the nature, location and extent of the Improvements are
shown on the Boundary Map of the Assessment District;
(b)
That the lands proposed to be specially assessed to pay the
costs and expenses of the Improvements are shown on the Boundary
Map of the Assessment District; and
(c) The Boundary Map of the Assessment District has been heretofore
approved and is on file in the Office of the City Clerk.
SECTlOft 3: That the assessment proceedings shall he conducted under
the "Municipal Improvement Act of 1913", being Division b2 of the Streets and
Highways Code, with bonds to be issued under the "Improvement Bond Act of
1915", being Division lO of the Streets and Highways Code.
SECTION 4: That the proposed Improvements are referred to the
Engineer of Work who is hereby authorized and directed Co prepare a report on
the proposed Improvements, pursuant Co tbe "Special Assessment Investigation,
Limitation and Majority Protest Act of 1931", being Division 4 of the Streets
and Highways Code (the "Report'e).

8ZCTIOH 5: That, st this tim, the City Council does not intend to
make any contribution or appropriation of funds toward any of the costs and
expenses of the proposed Improvements and all costs and expenses related
thereto shall be financed through special assessments levied upon benefitted
lands vithin the boundaries of the Assessment District, in the times form and
sanner required by law.
