A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCNO
CUCAMONCA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING GENERAL FLAN AMEBDMRNT NO.
86-01A - HAWKINS REQUESTING AN AMRNDMENT TO THE LAND USE
ELENElqT OF THE RANCNO CUCAMONCA GENERAL PLAN FROM LOW
DENSITY RESIDRNTIAL (2-4 DU/AC) TO LON MEDIUM DENSITY
RES!DRNTIAL (4-8 DU/AC) FOR 13.55 ACRES OF LAND LOCATED ON
FERON BOULEVARD EAST OF ARCHIBALD AVENUE - APN 209-055-02,
03, & 14
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a duly advertised public
hearing on January 22,198~ to consider all comments on the proposed General
Plan Amendment No. 86-01A; and
WHEREAS, the Cit7 Council held a duly advertised public bearing to
consider all comments on the proposed General Plan Amendment No. 86-OIA.
SECTION 1: The Rancbo Cucamonga Cit7 Council can make the following
findings:
A. Toe Amendment does not conflict with the Land Use
Policies of the General Plan.
B. The Amendment promotes goals of tbe Land Use Element.
C. The Amendment would not be materially injurious or
detrimental to the adjacent properties.
SECTION 2: The General Plan Land Use Map shall be amended as
follows:
ARq 209-055-02, 03 and 14 shall be changed from Low DeniaL7
Residential (2-4 du/ac) to Low Medium Density Residential
(4-8 du/ac).
SECTIOM 3: A negative Declaration is hereby adopted based upon the
completion and findings of the Initial Study.
N(N, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Rang ~camonga City
C~ eby approves General Plan Amendment No. 86-01A.
