A RESOLUTION OF THE CITf COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
CUC~MONGA, COUWl'Y OF SAN BERNARDINO, STATE OF CAI.IFORNIA,
ORDERING TO BE VACATED, A PORTION OF AE~ND STREET
BETWEEN BERYL STREET AND ~JdETR~ST AVE~d73E
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 85-339 passed on December 18, 1985, the
Council of the City of Rancho Cucamon~a declaped its intention to vacate a
poP%ion of a City street heroinafter mope particulaply described, and set the
hour of 7:30 p.m. on Janua~, 15 1986, in the Lions Park Community Center
Buildin~, located at 9161 Base Line, Rancho Cucamon~a, California, as the time
and place for hearing all persons objecting to the ppoposed vacation; and
WHEREAS, such public heerin~ has been held at said time and place,
and there were no protests, oral or written, to such vacation.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Rancho Cucamon~a as
follows:
SECTION 1: The Council hereby finds all the evidence submitted that
a portion of Almond Street is unnecessax7 for present or prospective public
street purposes, and the City Council hereby makes its order vacating that
portion of said City street as shown on Map No. V-0~8 on file in the office of
the Clerk of the City of Ranoho Cucamon~a~ which has been further described in
a legal description which is attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A", and by
reference made a papt thepool.
SECTION 2: The subject vacation shall be subject to the reservations
and exceptions, if any, for exlstin~ utilities on record.
SECTION 3: The Clerk shall cause a certified copy of this resolution
to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of San Bernardino County,
Califomia.
SECTION 4z The Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of
this resolution, and it shall thereupon take effect and be in force.
PASSED, APPROFED, and ADOPTED this 5th day of February, 1986.
