A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, ORDERING AND DIRECTING THE
PREPARATION OF A "REPORT' FOR ANNEXATION TERRITORY TO A
COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga, California,
(hereinafter referred to as the "legislative body of the local A~ency"), at
this time is desirous to annex territox7 to an existinE Community Facilities
District pursuant to the terms and provisions of the "Mello-Roos Community
Facilities A~t of 1982", being Chapter 2.5, Part 1, Division 2, Title 5 of the
Government Code of the State of California, and specifically Article 3.5
thereof. The existing Comnmnity Facilities District has been designated as
COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 84-1 (DAY CREBX DPAINAGE SYSTEM) hereinafter
referred to as the "District"); and,
as
WHEREAS, the area proposed to be annexed shall be known and designated
ANNEXATION NO. 86-1
COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 84-1
(DAY CREEK DRAIN~E SYSTEM)
(hereinaf tar referred to as the "annexed territory").
WHEREAS, this legislative body hereby directs the preparation of an
Annexation "Report" to provide more detailed information relating to the
existing District, the area proposed for annexation, the existing and proposed
public facilities, and the special tax rate and apportionment to be authorized
for levy within said annexed territory.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the above recitals are all true and correct.
SECTION 2: That WILLDAN ASSOCIATES, the appointed ENGINEER OF WORK,
is hereby directed and ordered to prepare a "Report" to be presented to this
legislative body, said "Report to contain the following information:
A. General description of territory included in the existing
District;
B. General description of territory proposed to be annexed to said
existing District;
A description of the public capital facilities and/or services,
if applicable, provided in the existing District;

A description of the public capital facilities and/or services,
if applicable, to be provided in the territory proposed to be
annexed, including a plan for sharing facilities that will be
provided in common with the existing District and the territory
proposed for annexation;
General description of special taxes to be levied within the
territory proposed to be annexed to pay for said public
facilities. A special tax to pay for public facilities financed
through bonds my be adjusted as authorized by Section 53339.2;

A description of any alteration in the special tax, if
applicable, by reason of the annexation.

SECTION 3: This Annexation "Report", upon its presentation, shall be
submitted to this legislative body for review, and shall be made a part of the
record of the public hearing on the Resolution of Intention to annex territory
to the existing District.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 5th day of February, 1986.
