A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, SUPPORTING THE NEED FOR DEVELOPMENT
OF A FULL SERVICE PSYCHIATRIC HOSPITAL AND OTHER SUPPORTING
FACILITIES
WHEREAS, the City of Rancho Cucamonga has experienced exceptional
growth over the last several years and is projected to be one of the fastest
~rowing communities in the United States; and
WHEREAS, the residents of the City of Rancho Cucamonga do not
presently have access to a hospital within their own community; and
WHEREAS, the construction and operation of a new hospital and support
facilities will provide hundreds of jobs for residents of Rancho Cucamonga and
surrounding communities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of
Rancho Cucamonga hereby supports the application for a Certificate of Need to
be filed by Continental Care, Inc. for the development of a full service L
psychiatric hospital and other supporting facilities.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 21st day of August, 1985.
