BE IT ResOLVeD by the City Council for and of the City
Cucasonga:
Authorize the execution of Supplement No. 11 to Local
Agency - State Agreement No. 08-5420 for the
installing of four (4) no No. 9 automatic crossing
gates on Arcbibald Avenue and Southern Pacific
Railroad Crossing No, BB0-522,9 located
approximmtely 1/2 mile north of Base Line·
To direct abe signing of said supplement and for the
return of certified copies of such to the State of
California Department of Transportation along with
copies of this Resolution.
BK IT ALSO REGtV~D to comply with all contents and
convenants or remarks attached to said agreement including:
Payment of Local Agency portion of said agreement
estimated at $13,200 and such increases as required
complete such construction.
To reaffirm the "Is,discrimination Assurances"
contained in the Local Agency Agreement 8-5420 for
Federal Aid Program.
To a~ree that the payment of Federal funds for such
project will be limited to the Detail Estimate
amount approved by the Federal Highway
Adainistration in the Federal-Aid Project Agreement
(PI-2). or its modification (PR-gA). and to accept any
increases in Local Agency Funds as shown on the
Finance or Bid Letter or ice modification as prepared
by the Office of Local Assistance.
All required pavement markings end advance warning
signs shall conform to abe requirements of !eTCD, 1978
and shall be placed in their proper location by the
Local Agency at the time of completion of the
railroed's work.
The cost of maintenance of the crossin2 shall be
allocated by the Public Utilities Commission.
