A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EANCHO
CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, SUMMARILY ORDERING THE VACATION OF A
PORTION OF MADRONE AVENUE, SOUTH OF ARRO~ ROUTE
WHEREAS, by Chapter 4, Article 1, Section 8330, of the Streets and
Sighway Code, the City Council of the City of Sancho Cucamonga is authorized to
summarily vacate a portion of the City Street hereinafter more particularly
described; and
WHEREAS, tbe City Council found all tbe evidence submitted that A
portion of Madtone Avenue, south of Arrow Route is unnecessary for present or
prospective public street purposes because it has been superceded by
relocation.
N(Y~, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Rancho Cucamonga as follows:
SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga
hereby makes its order vacating that portion of street on Hap V-063 on file in
the office of the City Clerk of the City of Sancho Cucamonga, which has been
further described in a legal description which is attached hereto, marked
Exhibit "A", and by reference made a part thereof.
· SECTION 2: That from and after tbe date the resolution is recorded,
said portion of Madtone Avenue, south of Arrow Route no longer constitutes a
street or public utility easement.
SECTION 3: That the City Clerk shall cause a certified copy of this
resolution to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of San
Bernardino County, California.

EXHIBIT "A"
That portion of Lot 18, Section 9, Township 1 South, Range 7 West, San
Bernardinn Meridian, according to Map of Cucamonga Lands, in the County of San
Bernardinn, State of California, as per map recorded in Book 4 of Maps, Page 9,
in the office of the County Recorder of said County, and more particularly
described as follows:
Commencing at the northeast corner of Lot 18, Cucamonga Lands, said point also
being the center line of Arrow Route.
Thence, South 89 degrees 46' 00" West along said centerline a distance of
400.55 feet.
Thence, South 00 degrees 14' 00" East a distance of 30.00 feet to a point on
the beginning of a tangent curve concave to the southeast, having a radius of
224.65 feet, said point also lying on the south right-of-way line of Arrow
Route (60 feet wide) and being 4.15 feet westerly of, as measured along the
south right-of-way line of Arrow Route, the west line of tbat parcel of land
conveyed to Donald W. Smith and wife, by deed dated March 21, 1946, and
recorded May 7, 1946, as No. 99.
Thence, southerly along said curve a distance of 95.51 feet through a central
angle of 24 degrees 21' 34" to a point lying 50 feet southerly of the
centerline of Arrow Route, said point being the True Point of B~21nni~2.
Thence, North 89 degrees 46' 00" West parallel with said centerline a distance
of 92.86 feet to a point on a tangent curve concave to the southeast and having
a radius of 24.00 feet.
Thence westerly, southwesterly and southerly alon~ said curve a distance of
37.69 feet through a central angle of 89 degrees 58' 20" to a point on the east
right-of-way llne of Madtone Avenue (60 feet wide).
Thence, South O0 degrees 12' 20" East along said right-of-way llne a distance
of 57.65 feet to a point on a tangent curve concave to the northwest and having
a radius of 285.00 feet.
Thence, southerly along said curve a distance of 66.53 feet through a central
angle of 13 degrees 22' 29".
Thence, North 89 deBrees 45' 40" East parallel with the south line of Lot 18,
Cucamonga Lands a distance of 0.04 feet to a point on a curve concave to the
southeast and having a radius of 224.65 feet and radial of North 75 degrees 30'
51" West.
Thence northerly, northeasterly and easterly along said curve a distance of
199.66 feet through a central angle of 50 degrees 55' 17" to the True Point of
