A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, SUMMARILY ORDERING THE VACATION OF
AN EASEMENT FOR HIGHWAY AND ROAD PURPOSES ACROSS PARCEL 1
OF PARCEL MAP 5767 (T~NTATIVE PARCEL MAP 9916)
WHEREAS, by Chapter 4, Article 1, Section 8330, of the Streets and
Highway Code, the City Council of the City of Rancho CucamonEa is authorized to
summarily vacate a portion of the City Street hereinafter more particularly
described; and
WHERFAS, the City Council found all the evidence submitted that an
easement for highway and road purposes across Parcel I of Parcel Map 5767
(Tentative Parcel Map 9916) is unnecessary for present or prospective public
street purposes because it has been superceded by relocation.
NON, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVEDby the City Council of the City of
Rancho Cucamonga as follows:
SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga
hereby makes its order vacatinE that portion of street on Nap V-O61 on file in
the office of the City Clerk of the City of Rancho Cucamonga, which has been
further described in a legal description which is attached hereto, marked
Exhibit "A", and by reference made a part thereof.
SECTION 2: That from and after the date the resolution is recorded,
said easement across Parcel I of Parcel Map 5767 (Tentative Parcel Map 9916) no
lonEer constitutes a street or public utilit7 easement.
SECTION 3: That the City Clerk shall cause a certified copy of this
resolution to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of San
Bernardino County, California.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 6th day of August, 1986.
