A RKSOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
CUCAM0tqGA, CALIFORNIA, DENYING ETIWANDA SPECIFIC PLAN
AMENDMENT NO. 8~-01, REQUESTING A CHANGE IN THE ETIWANDA
SPECIFIC PLAN DESIGHATIC~ FRON CONNUNITY SERVICE TO
NEIG~ORHOOD COMNERCIAL FOR 9.4 ACRES OF LAND LOCATED O~ THE
NORTHWEST COENER OF BASE LINE AND ETI~ANDA
WHEREAS, on the 14tb day of March, 1986, an application was filed and
accepted on the above-described project; and
WHEREAS, on the 28th day of May, 1986, the City Council held a duly
advertised public hearinS pursuant to Section 65854 of the California
Government Code.
SECT10G 1: The Rancho Cucamonga City Council cannot make the
following findings:
That the subject property is suitable for the uses
permitted in the proposed district in terms of access,
size, and compatibilit~ with existing land use in the
surrounding area; and
That the proposed district change would not have
significant impact on cbe environment nor the
surrounding properties; and
3. That the proposed district change is in conformance
with the General Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
That pursuant to Section 65850 to 65855 of the
California Government Code, that the City Council of
the City of Rancho Cucamonga hereby denies on the 2nd
day of July, 1986, Etiwanda Specific Plan Amendment No.
86-01.
