A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
CUCAMONGA, COUNT~ OF SAN BERNARDINO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA,
DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE NON-VEHICLE ACCESS RIGHTS
ON THE EAST SIDE OF ETIWANDA AVENUE SOUTH OF SHASTA DRIVE
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of P-sncho Cucamonga as
fol lows:
SECTION 1: That the City Council hereby elects to proceed under
Section 8300, et. seq., of the Streets and Highways Code, also known as the
Street Vacation Act of 1941.
SECTION 2: That the City Council hereby declares its intention to
vacate Non-vehicle access rights on the east side of Etiw·nda Avenue along the
frontage of Parcel Map 4029. a City street, as shown on Map No. V-050 on file
in the Office of the City Clerk, · lqal description of which is attached
hereto marked Exhibit "A" and by reference made a part hereof.
SECTION 3: That the City Council hereby fixes Wednesday, the 6th day
of August 1986 at 7:30 p.m., in the Lions Park Co~sunit7 Center Building,
located at 9161 Base Line, Rancho Cutmanage, California, as the time and place
for hearing all persons objecting to the proposed vacation for the purpose of
its datarsdning whether said City street is necessary for present or
prospective street purposes.
SECTION 4: That the City Street Superintendent shall cause notices
to be posted conspicuously along the line of the street or part thereof
proposed to be vacated at least 10 days before the hearing, not sore tban 30
feet ·part and not less than tbree signs shall be posted, each of which shall
have a copy of tbis resolution on them and shall bave the following title in
lettering not less than one inch in beigbt: "NOTICE OF HEARINC TO VACATE
STREET".
SECTION 5: The subject vacation shall be subject to the reservations
and exceptions, if any, for existing utilities on record.
SECTION 6: The Mayor shall sign tbis Resolution and the City Clerk
shall attest to the same, and the City Clerk shall cause same to be published
10 days before the date set for the hearings at least once in The DaiLy Renort,
a newspaper of general circulation published in the City of Ontario,
California, and circulated in the City of Rancbo Cutmanage, California.
