A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
CUCAM(IqGA, CALIFO~qlA, AUTHORIZING THE DESTRUCTION OF CITY
RECORDS AIqD DOCUM~IqTS WHICR ARE NO L(IqGER R~I~UIRRD AS
PROVIDED UNDER GOVERNM~T CODE SECTION 34090
WHEREAS, it has been determined that certain City records under the
charge of the following City Department are no longer required for public or
private purposes:
City Clerk's Department
WHEREAS, it bat been determined that microfilming and destruction of
the above-mentioned materials is necessary to conserve s~orage space, reduce
staff tim, expense, confusion in handling, and informing the public; and
WHEREAS, said records have been microfilmed in a manner which meets
with the requirements of the National Bureau of Standards for permanent
microphotographic copies, and per Government Code Section 34090; and
WHEREAS, it is therefore desirable to destroy said records as listed
in Exhibit "A" attached berets and made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, said records have been approved for destruction by the City
Attorney,
N~, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO CUCANOeCA DOES
RESGLVE AS FOLL(NS:
SECTIG8 I: That approval and authorization is hereby given to destroy
those records described as Exhibit 'A' attached hereto and made a part hereof.
SECT10S 2: That the City Clerk is authorized to allow examination by
and donation to the Department of Special Collections of the University
Research Library, University of California, or other historical society
designated by the City Council, any of the records described in Exhibit "A"
attached hereto and made a part hereof, except those deemed to be confidential.
SBCTI~3: That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the sane shall be in full force and
effect.
PASSED, APPROVE, and ADOPTED this 18tb day of June, 1986.

California, do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly passed,
approved, and adopted by the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga,
California, at a regular meeting of said City Council held on the 18th day of
June, 1986.
